A resume you upload is parsed into suggested skills. The file is not stored. Nothing counts until you confirm it. A class project as its own import is coming soon. A read-only GitHub connection is partial, so a repository counts only after you confirm the line.
CareerOneStop says a reader may give a resume 15 to 20 seconds. The band on the chart marks that span on a line drawn out to 30 seconds, so the span is easy to see. The 30-second end of the line is only the frame of the drawing. Checked for this site on 31 Oct 2026.
If you reject a suggested skill, the plan does not use it. The card is a sample of a suggestion waiting for a yes.
