Who writes the referral note

Flightpath suggests a person from public contacts, or gives you a search link, and drafts a note you approve. Nothing is sent until you approve the exact text. You mark it sent. Flightpath does not send the email.

You edit the draft before you approve it. A link in an email will not send the note. The draft stays on your account until you mark it sent.

NACE’s Job Outlook 2026 Spring Update says employers want a specific example of solving a problem. The survey ran from 12 February to 17 March 2026. The draft is a place to put one fact about your work. The steps below are a sample of that flow.
